About Us
Our History
Fred Pursehouse originally started in Agricultural Distribution in 1962. He started a family business servicing Werris Creek and the adjoining Liverpool Plains areas.
From its humble beginning as a hardware store in Werris Creek, NSW, Pursehouse Rural has grown to become one of the largest privately owned independent agribusiness’s in Australia. The entity is now recognised as a reputable supplier of agricultural chemical, seed, fertiliser, general farm supplies, equine supplies, pet supplies and stock feed.

Pursehouse Rural helps its customers be more efficient, productive and profitable.
Pursehouse Rural has been in the Agricultural Distribution Industry for over 60 years. We supply all essential rural inputs, including the right service and advice to ensure that our customers have everything they need on farm to succeed.
