The name ‘4th Pig’ was inspired by ‘The Three Little Pigs’. We believe rammed earth to be a superior building material that deserves its place in the story…

Duo Shawn and Sandra Palmer are the driving force of 4th Pig Pty Ltd – together they have been specialising in rammed earth buildings and features since 2009.

In this time they have completed many rammed earth projects, from small feature walls right through to full house projects and commercial buildings.

Both are qualified carpenters, with Shawn also being a licenced builder, completing a four year apprenticeship with John Oliver of Rammed Earth Constructions.

Based out of Stanthorpe in South East Queensland, contracts have taken us south to the Hunter Valley, NSW, and north to the Sunshine Coast, QLD, and many places in between…
