About Us
Welcome to Ballandean Estate
Our family has been making wine here since 1932, and we would love to share our estate wines with you. We have premium cool climate wines to suit all tastes, from rare and alternative varietals that excite, to elegant Shiraz and Chardonnay.
Ballandean Estate is Queensland's oldest family owned and operated winery. Located on the glorious Granite Belt, 850 metres above sea level, the estate is home to some of Australia's oldest Shiraz vines, and rarest wine varietals. Our winemaking practices combine the best of the old and the new.

We are open daily from 9am to 5pm. Visitors are warmly welcomed at our friendly cellar door, located at 354 Sundown Road in Ballandean.
You can sit back and relax in the Granite Belt's first wine lounge. The Barrelroom is serving signature grazing platters, cheese boards and premium wines from 11am to 3pm each day.
We invite you to visit the Granite Belt and immerse yourself in the beating heart of wine country. It’s an easy drive from Brisbane, Toowoomba, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.
