About Us

Our luxury bush cabins are located on a quiet road just 15 minutes outside Stanthorpe in the Granite Belt of the Southern Downs region in Queensland (QLD). Balladean is 10 minutes away.  We are in the middle of the bush not far from Girraween Park and a lot of other attractions in the area, there are so many wineries in the area you will be spoiled for choice. So a great choice for Stanthorpe accommodation and Balladean accommodation

If it is bird watching you are after, well we have over 80 different species of birds spotted on our property, we will provide a list of these in each cabin – see how many you can spot.  Of course, you will see different birds depending on the time of year so you will have to keep coming back. 

It is so quiet and peaceful here you can imagine you are completely alone spotting all the wildlife.  Also attractive to the romantic at heart, imagine just sitting on your deck looking out at the view with a glass of wine and a steak cooking on the BBQ with your loved one away from the hustle and bustle of life.  Enjoy the sky at night with the milky way and all the stars shining bright in the sky with no light pollution, see the sun setting from your deck and say hello to  the kangeroos who come by most days

Take a wine tour, spend the day at different wineries sampling their wines, bring some back to enjoy on your deck or visit the national parks, enjoy the unique granite landscape of the park (or enjoy a miniature of it on our property) see the many different plants of Giraween, some of which are on our property too.  We have some walks on our property so you can enjoy the bush and all it has to offer, go to the top of hill and enjoy all the rock formations and the fantastic view

Enjoy the many eateries around the area here in the Granite Belt, we have provided a list for you in your cabin. With such a varied menu to choose from you will be spoiled for choice.

We have pet friendly accommodation too so if you want to bring your pet with you and not have to leave him behind we welcome them.  Please contact us first so we can look after you and your pet.
