We hold an art group every week

Artworks on Railway is under the auspices of Granite Belt Community Space Inc. an association which was incorporated under government regulations in October 2014.

Granite Belt Community Space was incorporated under government regulations in October 2014. We espouse the values, philosophies and ideologies of its predecessor Art Works on Davadi. GBCS is a creative community hub dedicated to the building of connections, inspiring new ideas, bringing diverse visions and expanding opportunities. We will offer learning experiences to the community by providing a strong sense of place where artists & community groups can create, learn and display their creativity in a unique and inclusive environment.

Aims

To provide a meeting place in our community where everyone feels valued and safe.

To provide an arts friendly space where people can build their skills, gain confidence and display their work.

To provide an income to maintain and support the organisation.

To provide inexpensive, quality food for all in our community from our Café.

To provide learning opportunities in a nurturing environment.

To offer volunteers the opportunity to contribute their skills, acquire new skills and be valued for their contribution.
