About Us

Established in 1971, the Stanthorpe Pottery Club is a community of pottery enthusiasts based in Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt in Queensland.

Whether you are a seasoned artist or a beginner eager to learn, our club offers a supportive and inspiring environment for all.  Our members come from diverse backgrounds, bringing a wide range of experiences to our creative community. Together we explore a variety of techniques and experiment with different clay types to create unique pieces of art and functional ware.

Our club facilities include pottery wheels, slab roller, clay extruder, hand-building tables, glaze areas and glaze ingredients, airbrush, compressor and kilns.

Through regular workshops we expand our knowledge, learn new techniques and exchange ideas.

Our Earth & Fire Gallery is open to the public.  From practical pieces for everyday use to one of a kind works of art, the gallery celebrates the creativity & talent of our members.
